OUR TEAM
Jonathan Martin
Prior to co-founding Anfield Hotel Advisors, Jonathan was a Vice President at AEW Partners Funds group for eleven years, where he oversaw the acquisition, disposition, and asset management of over $1 billion of the fund’s hospitality assets including independent, Hilton, Starwood, Marriott, and IHG branded hotels in the U.S.
Before joining AEW Capital Management in 2007, Jonathan served as Director of Real Estate for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI) in Toronto, Canada and has over 15 years of senior hotel operations experience with FRHI, The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, and an independent luxury property in Ireland.
Mr. Martin is a graduate of University of London (B.S.) and Northeastern University (MBA) and has dual Irish and U.S. citizenship.
Jonathan and his family live outside of Boston and in his spare time he is the head soccer coach for the Wellesley United Soccer Club.
Al Whitehouse
Al brings more than 25 years of executive hospitality experience to Anfield. Prior to co-founding Anfield Hotel Advisors, Al was Principal of Acquisitions at Sage Hospitality where he focused on acquiring value add hotel opportunities and new management contracts as Sage grew their portfolio.
Prior to Sage, Al served as Chief Investment Officer for Dallas’ Prism Hotels & Resorts, responsible for all business development including acquisitions, new management contracts, and consulting services. Al previously worked for Bristol Hotels & Resorts in a variety of capacities, including General Manager for properties in Dallas and Atlanta.
Mr. Whitehouse holds a B.S. Hotel Administration, Cornell University and an M.S., Information Systems, University of Denver.
Denver is home to Al and his family where they enjoy the outdoors and various equestrian activities.
